FAIR-by-design upgrade of a distributed research infrastructure for nanoscience

The lesson will give an overview of the FAIR-by-design upgrade of a series of laboratories at CNR-IOM in the context of the NFFA-DI research infrastructure. Nanoscience research facilities typically consist of a wide variety of experimental setups for sample production and characterization. The upgrade of an heterogeneous set of laboratories represents a great challenge and requires a remarkable effort, but the FAIR data management proved to be even more profitable.
